We are now looking for an Accountant to Kungshusen in Mariefred, Strängnäs. As accountant you report to the Finance Manager and will be part of a great team of three persons. You will be a key member of the Kungshusen finance team.
The Role:
In your role as accountant, you work with tasks such as financial statements, reporting, and establishing and implementing procedures related to financial processes. You will be a key support for the Finance Manager as you are tasked with the accuracy and authenticity of financial information and reporting, tax and statutory compliance activities. You will also support the Finance Manager and be a key contributor in regard to key financial cycles, including half year, year-end, and budgeting and forecasting activities.
Main responsibilities:
The main responsibilities are book keeping and ensuring that the company´s accounting is in accordance with K3 regulations and legal requirements as well as participate in the preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Responsible for the company´s VAT and taxes, including the company´s personnel-related costs. Working with salaries is dependent on the candidates’ experiences and interest
- Reconciliation procedures
- Create reports for authorities, owners and management
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting within the finance department
- Being involved in managing the company´s daily liquidity and financing activities, along with preparing liquidity forecasts
- Constantly work towards developing standards and routines within the accounting processes
- Be responsible for some administrative tasks such as benefit cars
- Assisting with internal and external audit and ad-hoc projects
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have a relevant educational background within Finance/Accounting as well as 2-5 years relevant experience in auditing or operational accounting. You have a genuine interest in accounting principles and are eager to grow and develop within your role.
- Good knowledge about booking keeping as well as reporting of VAT and company taxes
- Attention to detail and has an analytical mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight time frames
- Effective communication skills together with being a team player and contributing to an including and supportive environment
- A positive attitude and keen on responsibilities
- Ambition and interest in continuous improvement and new challenges
- Good language skills in both Swedish and English

The Team
The Kungshusen team is entrepreneurial and at an exciting stage of growth, with a deep commitment to providing superior value to its customers. The company has around 20 employees, 8 of whom are based at its head office in Mariefred, which is also the location of the warehouse and service workshop. In addition, Kungshusen has also local offices to strengthen its service and support offering. As a member of the team you will find yourself being ”close to the business” at all time. You will be offered to join the sales team in different aspect of the business so that you learn more about what we do and offer to our customers. Decisions are taken at short lead time however most of the contracts are driven through tenders (LOU) resulting in framework agreements.
